Put the phone down and join a fun, safe, beginner-level acro-yoga class (with a touch of political education).

"Acro-yoga" is a playful practice with cooperative group stretching and poses that build trust, communication, strength and balance. Touching and lifting up your comrades encouraged but not necessary, nor is a partner. All body types and fitness levels welcome. Wear comfortable clothes.

Join the Healthcare Working Group Comms Committee meeting, where we're building a mass communications strategy around Medicare for All, the New York Health Act, and a socialist healthcare system that puts working people over corporate profits.

We'll be discussing the following:

1. Developing a weekly HCWG newsletter that gives readers actions to plug into and articles to help them understand the state of healthcare.
2. Developing blog posts for the new HCWG blog, Beyond Diagnosis. If you're a health worker, patient, health researcher, or just someone with something to say about the healthcare system, come discuss and pitch an idea to be featured!
3. Building a field and social media comms strategy to educate and mobilize people around single payer healthcare. If you're interested in developing fun, engaging content to teach NYC about a better healthcare future, come get involved!
